Hey family, This week was alright.  I'm just trying to stay alive down here with all the heat.  I've never experienced heat like this in my life and its not even summer yet.  Not quite sure what I'm gonna do about that...I'll try to send the photos again.   I'll be skyping on Sunday in the afternoon sometime, I'm not sure exactly when, probably after 3 I'm not sure. Sounds like you guys had a good week, this week I was just getting to know the members and the people here, the missionaries before me didn't leave much for me to work with so I have to start from the ground up again.  The ward is awesome and I'm excited to be able to work here. Elder Estrada actually didn't get sent home yet he's in the offices still but he will probably get sent home this week, they don't know yet. My companion now is Elder Chavez, he's from Monterrey. Our washing machine didn't work so I washed my clothes in a 5 gallon bucket, but this week we fixed the washing machine.  We live with the other missionaries too so there are 4 of us in the house. None of them are Americans so I don't have anyone to practice my English with... This week I went on exchanges with Elder McCracken, he was in my district in the MTC and now we are in the same ward.  His companion  has chicken pox and can't leave the house for 10 days, so I went and helped them out and we painted the inside of a house.   Elder McCracken and I, it was defiantly a Mexican paint job but that's alright. We live with the district leader, he's cool.   He's from Equador and he just came from being zone leader so I will be able to learn a lot from him. Anyways can't wait to talk with you guys this week, have a great week!!

 We have to ride a bus to the church and from the house we have to walk a little ways to the store.

Hey fam,

Thanks for the pictures mom, looks like you guys are having a good time!!! This week was alright, I just got changed back to Mexicali with Elder Chavez. I'm in a big ward, there are 6 missionaries in the ward and we live 4 in our house I'm looking forward to it! I'm dying of the heat though... I'm not sure how I'm going to do it this summer, its going to be really hard for me... I left Tijuana this morning at 8 in bus for Mexicali. I just found out today that my companion Elder Estrada that I had 6 weeks ago got hit by a car this week and broke his leg at the knee and something with his hand and head... He got sent back home to recover.  I couldn't believe it when I heard it.   I took some pics this week, I'll send them to you. Anyways thanks for everything.   Have a great week!!

Hey family, thanks for the pics mom. Sounds like you had a good Easter. To tell you the truth I forgot that it was Easter until right now,  haha.   No mom I haven't gotten your package yet. Haven't gone to the offices for  awhile now. I sent you some photos I hope you got them. Yes mom I eat some good food every week haha and some bad food too! My favorite is just the tacos de adobada and carne asada or pretty much any taco that has aquacate and salsa haha.   That's great the boys went to the temple with grandpa. That's awesome Bri and Jordan are getting sheep. I miss the summer in Wyoming more than anything I think! Sounds like Brooke had a good time in Florida.   I'm gonna have to come back to Tijuana when I end the mission. It's been really hot this week, I'm burning up, it reminds me of Mexicali last year... anyways this week was good.  There was a concert on Sunday that was pretty good for Easter. There is only one more week in this transfer and now I have 5 months here living the Lago life. Who knows what will happen. Anyways thanks for everything, have a great week family!!

Hey family this week was alright.  It's been pretty hot down here this week, I'm burning up.  I only took a couple photos this week. This one is of me in a suit that one of our investigators gave me this week.  This week has been a trial of my faith, lots of crazy things are happening down here.  It's definitely an evil world we live in, there are a lot of kids getting kidnapped for their organs here in Murua where we live. But anyways it's been going alright.   We have had a hard time getting our investigators to come to the church and if they don't come they can't be baptized. When church started in Sunday there was about 30 members there.  It's really sad this Sunday the area seventy came to the sacrament meeting. I think there are going to be changes in the stake here but who knows. anyways thanks for everything family have a great week!

Buenos dias family!!

This week was good. The conference was good.  We went to the church to watch it. Our building is the stake center and yes we went to the priesthood mom. And ya we had a family that we found a couple weeks ago of less actives and they are really cool.   We have been teaching them and their daughter Evelin is going to get baptized in a couple weeks!  They came to the conference with us! It was awesome! Ya I heard about the earthquake in Chile, Collin said it was way north and he didn't even feel it.  I can't believe Nate is home now.  Anyways, this week was good.  We've been working pretty good and I get along good with my companion so everything is going good down here. It's super hot down here today, I don't think its been this hot since I've been down here. We had a bunch of conferences this week, zone conference too.   Last night we found someone that has a foosball table and so I was able to own everyone at foosball for a little bit. Anyways thanks for everything, how is grandma doing?? Sorry mom I didn't take any photos this week but I will take some this week I promise!! Nos vemos, cuidanse!

Hey family,

This week was good.   forgot to take photos this week but I took one this morning, haha.   I'm glad to hear that grandma is doing good! We've been working good this week but its been pretty difficult, the work down here. I'm doing pretty good, I woke up super dizzy yesterday. I think the sun and the heat is getting to me but today I'm doing good. I'll try to find some time to send grandpa a letter or something.  We've been really busy lately.  When I actually find some free time I try to clean the house or fill out progress forms! That's great that you're spending some time in Utah mom.  No I didn't feel any earthquakes and no we don't have anything for emergencies but don't worry mom, I know how to survive haha anyways thanks for everything family, hope you are all doing good.  I'm practicing my English so I can talk good with you guys in mothers day haha.  Have a  great week!
